O’Dwyer’s Database Discontinuation
In an attempt to streamline the Library Collection budget, the Library Collection Development Team conducted a thorough analysis of our electronic resources. We analyzed the content and subjects covered by each resource, reviewed the usage statistics, full text coverage, price increases, alternative subject coverage in free or other Library subscription databases, and cost-per-use figures. After our in depth analysis it was sadly determined that O’Dwyer’s PR/Marketing Communications could not be retained.
However, much of the information is available for free on the O’Dwyer website. For those interested in a paper PR firm directory O’Dwyer’s directory of public relations firms is available.
For your other PR needs—like finding sample press releases or articles on corporate communications—our business article databases, such as ABI/Inform, Business Source Premier, Factiva, and Lexis-Nexis, are all still available for you. Access them on the Find Databases list.
